50th Birthday Gift for my Dad

For dads turning fifty, it should really call for a celebration. If you are planning for a party for the best dad in the world, then you should make this a true celebration and really have fun. After all, having 50 years in his life is not short and should be celebrated. Specially, if your dad is like my dad who is so fun, humorous, loving but strict, in the right way.

Since he is a guy filled with humor in his life, I choose to buy gift that has some sense of humor in it in his 49th birthday. His 49th birthday means freedom to him to enjoy himself and not to worry about having fun. The sort of freedom he felt since we are all grown up. For five consecutive years, I chose to give him gifts that will surely make him laugh. But this year is different. Since this is another year of achievement for him for another year added on his life, I choose to give him something that is practical for him and memorable. I chose to give him Seiko Kinetic Watches which I found through my search online.

‘Decisions…Decisions, About College Application.’

Your senior years have begun, classmates already talking about what course to apply in college. What Scholl is the best Scholl to enrol too? Or considering whether or not taking the advantage of colleges early admission exams and programs. Take some time about these options are right for you.

These early options can be confusing-some schools even have more than one of these options. Talk to your guidance counsellor if there’s anything like to take in college. Besides, you will be the one to spend the time in college.

College respond to early applications in one of the three ways; acceptance, rejection or holding applications over regular decisions.

Take also inconsideration about these things;

>Locations

To where you will enroll, is it far and safe? Is the transportation from and to is enough for you or you will take the dorm.

>Financial

Can our parent afford the cost of the fees? In the real facts of life, we really need to consider, with the global situation.

>Are can ready

A good question,’ are up with the challenge? Be ready to overcome the obstacle and simply enjoy college life.

Listening Is A Virtue

We just can’t communicate. That is usually complaint confide there common issue with their siblings. Both generations seems to be pessimistic about fixing it. This only makes conflicts more difficult to resolve

After hearing all the sides of the story. It seems that there is a formula on how can we make that communication path open. I recommend using this pattern. I’m not an expert, however, it might just work, right?

Here, conversations techniques that really works;

Keep your cool

The ideal way to talk with a teen is matter of factly, showing respect for his ideas while clearly and non defensively stating your own. This static works both ways.

Time it right

Arrange a specific to talk later. This will have time clam the emotion and let both side conversational. Like going out together for a snack or lunch on the weekends or for dinner is an ideal way catches up one on one when is ready talk.

Hold back

Simple hold those unwanted emotions if not needed. This will just add confrontation to both parties. Keep it cool, stay focus. You just might understand more the underlying reason why each other act that way, instead of throwing those ideas at the same time.

Let them choose

Teens often take the opposite positions from their parents. This is mainly, because they’re trying to exercise their night to choose for themselves. And they don’t want to feel as though some one else is controlling their decisions or opinions.

Don’t get frost rated if you can’t target your teen to agree with you after a calm and reasoned discussion. No problem that cannot resolved with.
